Paul Loebach: Addition to My Little Green Book

June 21, 2010

Funny how when looking through Paul Loebach's work on his website, I recognized half his work but never knew his name. How could I have missed the name of this amazingly talented RISD graduate for all this time?

After seeing Super Bowl at the exhibit called "Cite Goes America," I went straight back to the office and pulled up his site.

He is the brilliant designer behind Step Stools, Half Mirror, and Himmeli lights all of which have enchanted me.

Here are two of my favorite pieces and it wasn't easy to pick just two! He is now inked in my little green book of favorite designers; welcome, Paul!

Vase Space
- Inspired by American Federal furniture and the obsessive nature of neo-classicism, this side table integrates three removable vases that flow smoothly into the table top. Machined using a new multi-axis CNC technology.
