Feeling Much Better Now

May 26, 2010

I took my V.I.P. cousins up to see the house and they loved it, but they couldn't figure out why I was so flushed-my face turning red and there was steam coming out of my ears. Barely anything had changed since my last visit. I tried to contain my anger.

Paul Siskin Smoking Ears

I hardly think they noticed when I slipped off and created a clearing by chopping down a few trees in order to vent. It would have been much easier had I brought an axe with me. Looks like I have a lot of explaining to do to my manicurist this week. It's time to get tough! No more Mr. Nice Guy!

Writing this post motivated me to call Mitch. Of course the conversation didn't go as planned-my rage had softened as it always does during confrontation. Mitch was full of understanding, compassion, and regret as I told him my complaints. I asked him about the extra help that was supposed to be there for the last two weeks. It seems that his assistant had inhaled poison ivy and was laid up. Airborne poison ivy? Talk about your hard to scratch locations! He assured me that he was not away last week working on another project but spending time with his daughter after her graduation. He added that as we were speaking he was in his shop working on my screen doors. Now I won't have to worry about the many crewmen being bothered by bugs while working. Check that off my lift of concerns.

Thank god for cynical humor, where would we be without it? I must remember that one year from now when I am spending summer 2011 in the city waiting for my house to be built that this experience has provided me with a virtual gold mine of comic relief. Yes, I feel much better now.

The world of virtual assistance is definitely growing. Virtual assistants can provide a lot services like administrative support , travel arrangements, book keeping and transcription. This can be a real blessing for small businesses which cant afford too much expenses for a full time. Many of the companies are hiring virtual assistants who work from home. The reason is that they can be accessed any time and they work for you round the clock. Thanks for the post.

A virtual assistant can help you grow your business by handling your administrative support tasks. You can outsource various tasks like accounting, advertising, clerical, administrative, answering phone calls, internet research, data entry and technical support tasks to a virtual assistant. And the best part is that you can relax and enjoy your vacation or holidays while all your works are done by your virtual assistant. Isn't it sounds great?
