Bocci Outlets

We are working on a kitchen and were in a meeting discussing the backsplash, which led to the discussion of the location of electrical outlets. It’s going to be a Corian countertop and backsplash. Do we put the outlets underneath the upper cabinets? Not a great solution since you are left staring at the ghastly cords coming from your appliances on the counter. So we are left with having the outlets and their cover plates on the backsplash.  Not the end of the world.

But we might consider using these electrical wall accessories from Bocci. I remember seeing them at ICFF last year. These clever devices can be installed straight into drywall or millwork and eliminate the need for a cover plate.

You can use corian plates. You can use pop up outlets that come out of the countertop
