Katarina Fritsch

I am not sure why, but Katarina Fritsch’s work was something of which I was unaware. Last week, while in Zurich, we decided to take time out from sightseeing in this amazingly beautiful city and go and see this show. If there was any show that was going to be perfect for my family this was it.

Jaime and I were instantly mesmerized as were my daughters Mia Soleil (8) and Saskia Luna (6). We were greeted by a giant bright yellow statue of a butler and things just got better from there. A life-size green elephant, bright umbrellas over our heads, and then the octopus…the orange octopus holding up a black diver in one of its tentacles must now be added to my list of "bestest things I have ever seen in my life!" And OMG, I think I almost stopped breathing when I came into the room where I was awed by a very long table with a red and white patterned table cloth. Sitting at the table were 32 identical statues of men dressed in black pants and shirts. See more about this wonder woman.
