Casalino chair

I need to think about getting some new chairs for my dining table. As a designer, I am embarrassed to admit how hard it is for me to make any decisions when it comes to furniture selection for my own home. Thank God I have a somewhat limited budget, because if the sky is the limit was my budget category, I would have an empty house with a couple of mattresses on the floor. So for once in my life I feel somewhat grateful for having budgetary restrictions.

 I need a chair that exudes a cool confidence, that is super hip without looking like its trying to hard. This is exactly why the Casalino Chair by Alexander Begge is my number one contender right now. I like the vintage chair that was introduced in the 70’s, but I hear that the chair is being reintroduced again by Casala. Made from molds from the original chair it should mean that its as beautiful as the original. I will have to see for myself and for right now I am keeping my eyes peeled for some white vintage ones.
