Elastic Co.

Last week I was introduced to the incredible talents of Elodie Blanchard of Elastic Co. She is based in Brooklyn right under my nose and I had absolutely no idea. I asked Elodie to come over and show me samples of her work as soon as I finished looking through (and drooling over) her Web site. This lovely frenchwoman’s melodic voice had me mesmorized in seconds, and I enjoyed listening to her describe her work.

Elodie has a background in fashion which becomes apparent very quickly after looking through samples of her window treatment panels. This woman works her magic with linen, parachute material, gauze, plastic, string, felt, and duck cloth to name just a few. Her style is happy, energetic, and playful. What I love most about her panels, is that they are fresh and modern. I love the way she sews threads or colored string through her fabrics and then zigzags over them. I am really excited to share this with my clients and I look forward to working with her.

This is a major setback for Obama, you are spot on. Max, can you get a quote or stanemett from Obama himself about this? It's a disgrace the way the Israel Lobby extremists, are allowed to run our foreign policy. Do you know who the replacement may be?Obama may yet pull a genius move, in that he may bring in someone more gutsy and able to stand up to the Lobby. Can you find out who the replacement will be and better still get an interview from the top. This is an outrage.
