Modern 50

I just spent a lovely week in Atlanta with my husband’s family for Thanksgiving. We decided to do a road trip this year instead of flying. It was mostly my husband’s idea, but once I got used to the idea of 16 hours in a car, I thought of all the wonderful possibilities–and we had a great trip. One of the stops that I really wanted to make was in Sterling, Virginia just outside D.C. to visit Modern 50.

I had met Dino and Eric, who own Modern 50, a couple of weeks back when they delivered some items I bought for a client. Vané, who works for me, found the site, and I spent many hours looking over their fantastic vintage industrial inventory. So it felt good to go and find out where they stored all their treasures. They really have an amazing collection.
