Hello Susan Yes its a tricky time to be looking for a job. I worked in design/sales for some years before I started my own business and it taught me some very valuable lessons. As a designer one of the hardest things you have to do is to sell yourself. Even so, selling a product may be easy...selling yourself - not so easy. I personally needed some time working for another company before starting my own firm. I have never worked for an interior design company since my first job was more sales oreinted . I think it would look amazing as an entry piece. Also I too have been wanting to pick your brain if you wouldn't mind. I have studied interior design and am done now but have been having trouble finding a job with everything being affected by the market and all so I'm trying to do my own thing and start a design business w/ my fiance so I would really love to ask you a few questions, mostly about starting out.
