3 Fingers Painting

What makes my job extra fun is working and collaborating with talented craftspeople, artisans and designers. Here is a slide show of a room that the ladies at 3 Fingers Painting just completed for us. I asked them to photograph the entire process for me because I knew that they would have fun with it. When you view the slide show, read the captions…these cool creatively tattooed ladies may look like they are having fun, but they are serious about their work.

Its always a pleasure working with Sope and Rachel. They are the most precise, detail oriented, professional painters I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I have thrown all kinds of tricky painting projects their way and I am always thrilled with the outcome.

We usually hand them drawings to demonstrate the design, and then give them the Benjamin Moore Paint color. From there, they spend a crazy amount of time taping…(I mean days) and less time painting. On this project I simply told them the approximate dimensions of the stripes I wanted and they did the math to make it all work out.

I am super excited about this room since I have been wanting to do a horizontal graphic striped room for a while now and I thought this guest room would be perfect place to try it out. Just can’t wait to get the furniture in. Enjoy the slide show.

These rooms are dreamy and the painters look like they know what they're doing. They also look like they have fun with the process and get along, which is half the battle with finding good contractors. Happy people = better work! Ladies, keep up the smiles.

These ladies are a beautiful mix of bold personality with a fierce commitment to perfection. They could totally have a reality show.

I don't know what is hotter that paint job or the ladies who created it. I will be calling them up soon for an apartment make over. (maybe if they are offered a reality show they could use my apt for an episode)
