Giant Folding Chairs and Table

Last week, a friend of mine, Pam, invited me to an afternoon of gallery touring in Chelsea. I really wish I would make more time in my life for this, because I got back to the office after about two hours feeling very inspired and happy. Although I saw a couple of really wonderful things, the Robert Therrien show at Gagosian Gallery took my breathe away.

I work with furniture all day long, and feel like the internet removes me even more from actually going to showrooms and feeling and touching items I am going to select for clients, and here I was in this gallery surrounded by GIANT folding chairs and tables - the detailing is incredible! To move amongst the overscaled tables and chairs felt so trippy!
