My mother always used to draw little gnomes sitting on toadstools for me when I was little. Today I still adore those freakish little gnomes and their little red toadstools with white dots. My husband does not understand gnomes and thinks they are tacky. You either get it or you don’t! My client Kirsten totally gets it and has dotted little red gnomes around her house in upstate New York. If you are with me on all of this, I know you will totally appreciate these two pieces.
The woodland mushrooms stools are by Paola Navone for Riva.
The gnomes are by Philippe Starck for Kartell.
