Historically Inaccurate

November 28, 2009

Richard Saja makes me laugh!  I came across his YouTube video of an installation he did at the shelburne museum and googled him the second the video was over and  found his blog Historically Inaccurate.  This funny clever man takes Pierre Deux Toile and has some fun with it.   I have two clients who have his pillows but I never figured out who he was.  After looking at his blog I am so taken with his sense of humor and wanted to share some of my favorites embroideries.  He has done a series of pillows but also a whole sofa where he has taken bits of the toile and elaborated the graphic stories with his embroidery.
