I like how product designers pay attention to the design of so many different elements in the home, not just furniture, but every single thing that you (and your pets) use on a daily basis. Not everyone has a room specifically designed for their pet’s beds, eating bowls and litter box, so unfortunately dog bowls and kitty litter often has to be a part of one’s decor. In the past, the choices have been pretty awful and certainly not well designed, so when I saw the Modkat kitty litter box a couple of years ago I practically forced my clients Craig and Kirsten to buy it. It wasn’t a hard sell but the real test came down to seeing if the kitties would be accepting of their new toilet. I am happy to report that Miss Penelope and Brains both approved. Voila, kitty happy, client happy, and, most importantly, designer happy.
