Tom Tom Cloud

While on the train on our way from Amsterdam to Zurich we passed a building and saw this large inflated cloud lighting contraption in the lobby of a new building. I was so intrigued even though I saw it for a split second and was not entirely sure what this gigantic cloud-like structure was. On my next visit to Amsterdam (we always stay in a town about 30 minutes from Amsterdam called Alkmaar) about a week later, I was determined to go investigate and take a closer look. It turns out that it was right behind the amazing new public library and it was in the lobby of the Tom Tom offices. I went in and snapped this picture right before a very friendly security guard told me I couldn’t do that–oh well, too late. Back home I tried to do some research to find out about this fabulous sculptural cloud but came up with nothing. If anyone knows anything about this please leave a comment and let me know.
