Alissia Melka-Teichroew is a cheeky, mischievous thing, and that’s what I like about her. She is energetic, charismatic, super creative, and fun. She’s a bit of a mongrel just like me: french mother, american father, born and raised in The Netherlands, and now lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. She’s got an amazing academic record as a Design Academy Eindhoven graduate, and she holds a Masters of Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.

She is founder and creative director of byAMT Inc which she describes as a "new world-old world mash-up." She designs all kinds of things from jewerly and glassware to furniture. Here are some of her jewelry, furniture, and lighting designs that have me completely besides myself.
