Mueller Moebel

May 24, 2009

It was great to see the German design exhibit at ICFF this year. They had some fantastic products. I was especially impressed with this stacking bed system from Mueller Moebel designed by Rolf Heide in 1966. It has the feel of something from the 1960’s for some reason that I can’t quite pinpoint, but it looks as if it could have been designed this year.

I am excited to use this for kids’ bedrooms in the city because I often have to do beds with trundles and this is just a new refreshing alternative. I looked on their website and noticed that these are available in a bunch of colors too.
