Nama Rococo Wallpaper

April 11, 2010

I was at a new client’s apartment recently where she had taken a single sheet of Nama Rococo wallpaper, mounted it on a board, and hung it in her bathroom. It reminded me how much I love these wallpapers.

I loved what Mary to the sisal carpet. About 20 years ago...A few deisgner'swould go faithfully to The Winter Antiques. During the Q & A done so well by the late Mark Hampton. He was ask the question do you see any young deisgners that may well be the next Mark Hampton. Mark, mentioned my name and how I did both the Greenwich and Boston showhouse. He went on to say, "Amazingly talented young woman...She actually took a sisal rug and painted to work within her scheme." After the luncheon I went over to him to thank him. He was one of my favorite mentors and a dear friend.Once again, I loved what Mary did...She made a very bold and quite chic statement that suited the room so well. Enjoy your blog! ~maureen

I as an interior designer in Nashville TN. likes to use wallpaper. One, it is like art. Two, it last far better than paint. Three, it adds interest to a room. Wallpaper if applied right is very easy to remove .
