This solution to a kid’s bed absolutely delights me (in other words, "I love it"). This design is by Studiomama, based in London and owned by designer Nina Tolstrup.

As much as I adore the design of the bed, the image below of Nina at her desk makes me very, very happy.
Makes me want to move out of the office I share with my husband and my wonderful employees, and move over to the conference/dining table. I am tempted! I could stare out the window at the river all day long.

i love these private, secret spaces for kids--reminds me of building "forts" out of the sofa cushions. also reminds me of the bunk beds from your project featured in an earlier interior design issue from this year where everything was pink--same great feeling.
