Holiday Placemats Made From Potato Chip Bags
December 11, 2008

Potato chips may not be the best thing to put in your stomach, but this holiday season, potato chip bag placemats might be the brightest thing to put on your tabletop. These sparkly round placemats from BTC Elements are made from the inside layer of potato chip bags, wrapped around dried grass similar to raffia. Handwoven and fairly traded from Nepal, and they make matching coasters too.
$120 for a set of 6 from BTC Elements
