News (Actually Research) You Can Use

This week’s News You Can Use comes from an impeccable source – Interior Design magazine. Okay, this reeks of nepotism and I swear I wouldn’t do it if the data wasn’t so, well – fantastic. Check it out.
• Of the 2008 top 100 Interior Design Giants, half have 10 or more LEED-APs on staff – the average is 13.
• 40 of the Giants specified at least $5 worth of green products, and in total, more than $5 billion!
• 33% of all projects from the top 100 Giants followed LEED guidelines.
Can you say – market transformation? See all the results in the June issue starting on page 62. It’s great stuff!
