Workingwonders is a work in progress, off to a very good start. Check out its web site and plan to spend some time. What you’ll find is a one-stop location for green and clean products organized by type, room and brand.
Or you can go directly to the green guide where the products are identified according to workingwonders eight green values, each represented by an icon: waste reduction, resource conservation, indoor air quality, energy and water savings, better production practices, better shipping practices, better community relations and place of manufacture. Each is thoroughly described.
Clicking on a particular product will take you to a description, ordering information including pricing, in many cases, and a link to the manufacturers’ Green Actions.
Click on the greenology tab and learn the filters that workingwonders uses to verifiy and communicate the greenness of the products it lists; how it guards against greenwash and makes some of the tough choices we all face when making materials choices.
Workingwonders will improve and become a more valuable resource as it adds additional manufacturers and a wider spectrum of products. Your input can help them do that.

Working Wonders is a true find. This site is especially strong on products that are green about the air quality in our homes. As someone who struggles with respiratory allergies, this is finally a place that understands how important toxic fumes are to us.
