Editors’ Picks: 26 Cutting-Edge Lighting Fixtures

From sleek suspension lamps and colorful glass pendants to radiant aluminum sconces, here are 26 recent product introductions in the lighting category. Playfulness and functionality unite in the Woodspot task light by Alessandro Zambelli for Seletti. Balanced yogi-like on its slender pine arm and shade, the table lamp utilizes LED technology in providing precise, directed light. Industrial lines marry gentle curves in Tommaso Caldera’s Tull, a copper- or nickel-finished steel-frame cage fixture, which comes in pendant and floor/table versions available through Incipit. Russian interior and product designer Ekaterina Elizarova teamed with experimental Venetian studio Bosa to produce Chapiteau, fanciful striped fixtures inspired by circus tents and aerialists. The lustrous coatings hand painted on the ceramic pendants by Italian artisans contain particles of gold, platinum, and copper. All products have also been featured in Interior Design‘s most recent Spring Market Tabloid.
