Grand Rapids Chair Company, the family-owned chair and table manufacturer, will unveil its new permanent showroom at Chicago's Merchandise Mart during NeoCon, being held June 10-12 this year. In addition to unveiling the new 1,000-square-foot showroom, the company will also debut three new contract lines—Bodie lounge furniture, Roy modular furniture and Felix chairs and training tables—that “push the envelope” in terms of design and function, according to Geoff Miller, president, Grand Rapids Chair Company.

Located on the Mart's third floor in suite 394, the newly renovated showroom will feature a broad variety of the company’s chairs and tables for a multitude of design environments including offices, restaurants, hotels, schools, and health-care spaces, among others. Miller says that after years of exhibiting on the temporary floors during NeoCon, the company is thrilled to have a space to call its own. This new showroom will give its customers “a convenient, year-round resource to assist them in their buying decisions,” he says.

Adding another feather to their cap, the Byron Center, Michigan-based company is consolidating operations and increasing manufacturing efficiencies in an 140,00-square-foot headquarters that will be fully operational by the end of 2013.

Until then, watch out for their revamped web site debuting the first day of NeoCon in tandem with their new digs at the Mart.
