An architect’s spirit and talent lives on for decades within the walls of each and every realized design. Stephen Kanner’s latest completed project will be no exception, showcasing his trademark modern appeal, sharp lines, and 90-degree angles. One of the late architect’s final designs, The Hollywood, a residential condominium complex named for it’s star-studded location, opened for sales this month.
The 54-unit project, which features three two-bedroom floorplans and a penthouse, sat in foreclosure since the 2008 market crash, but today are all systems go under Los Angeles-based Pacifica Real Estate Services. The units are outfitted with Viking appliances, and Eco-Intelligent fireplaces, and some offer panoramic views of L.A. County. The site itself has a storied history as the former home of the Masquers Club and the Villa Capri Restaurant, a favorite hangout of the Rat Pack.
Prices for The Hollywood’s inventory range from $400,000 to $1 million, and more info can be found at thehollywoodcondos.com.
