Interior Design's top 100 Giants saw sizeable increases in eco practices and product specification. In fact, 48 percent of total design fees in 2012 were attributed to sustainable projects, up from 37 percent the previous year. The average number of LEED-accredited professionals employed at each Giants firm rose from 15 to 22, while 387 million square feet qualified as green (last year, that number was 313 million). The 2013 top 100 Giants reported that 59 percent of all products they specified were green, up from 53 percent reported last year.
