Toshiyuki Kita puts a spin on things with Saruyama, a tidy swivel chair and ottoman with a variety of wool covers foam-injected over steel. Saturated paint colors and arms reminiscent of elephant trunks define Studio Rygalik’s beech Dumbo chair. Moving outdoors, the ostrich inspired Banjooli, polyethylene fishing yarns woven over a steel chair frame by Sebastian Herkner, while expanded steel normally used in construction is pierced and powder-coated in Benjamin Hubert’s Net tables.
