Axo Light Bell

Bell, from the Lightecture line, ranges from a very manageable 16½-inch diameter to a massive 71 inches. Fireproof ribbons of smooth pongé fabric in red, Golden Yellow, Electric Blue, Bordeaux, white, Warm White, Brick, brown, black, or green wrap the metal structure. The flush-mounts or pendants can have incandescent, halogen, fluorescent, or metal-halide bulbs. 39-41-5845193; axolight.it. circle 720

Estiluz Infiore

Fresh as a daisy but closer in size to a mammoth sunflower, the 22-inch-diameter Infiore has bi-injected polycarbonate petals in green, white, or gray. The halogen pendant measures 10 inches high, but a floor and table lamp are also available, and any fixture in the trio can take a compact fluorescent. 201-641-1997; estiluz.com. circle 733

Leucos Joy

Designers Paolo de Lucchi and Giorgia Paganini were thinking of old honeycomb paper carnival decorations as they hatched their 2-foot-diameter Joy pendant. Thirty zigzag plates of methacrylate fan around a polished chrome center to create the exploding three-dimensional honeycomb. Choose incandescent or fluorescent lamps for either the pendant or flush-mount. 800-832-3360; leucosusa.com. circle 738

Ivalo Lighting

Kohn Pedersen Fox legend William Pedersen brings his architectural eye to the 27-inch L'Ale 27, a gracefully curved cast-aluminum indoor sconce illuminated indirectly using white LED strips. Standard matte automotive-paint finishes for the ADA-compliant fixture include slate, Graphite, and Titanium. A coordinating pendant was already in the line. 610-282-7472; ivalolighting.com. circle 734

Flos Can Can

No more dancing in the dark. Kick up your heels with the flirty Can Can pendant by Marcel Wanders. Its fluid polyester fabric is ruffled like a petticoat, then enfolded within the polycarbonate diffuser in gloss black or white. Illumination comes from a pair of 26-watt compact fluorescents. 800-939-3567; flos.com. circle 737

Vibia I.Cono

The Barcelona-based design firm Lievore Altherr Molina looked north to Scandinavia for the clean lines of its I.Cono family of table and floor lamps. The gloss-finished polycarbonate head in white, black, or green swivels thanks to a minimalist rotating mechanism atop a ramrod straight stem or a bent-elbow arm. 732-417-1700; vibialight.com. circle 735

Jake Dyson Motorlight

Papa mastered the practical with his range of racy contemporary vacuums. London-based son Jake has tackled lighting. His Motorlight wall sconce of aluminum and polycarbonate uses a constantly-in-motion pair of shutters to focus a beam of light from a candelabra bulb over a shifting range of widths. Installations of multiple fixtures can be synchronized using a remote control. Choose from Clear Glow, Red Glow, Blue Glow, White Gloss, and Black Gloss. 44-207-713-0188; jakedyson.com. circle 736

Studio Italia Design UFO

Designer Brian Rasmussen's 30-inch UFO pendant centers a twin-tube compact fluorescent bulb in a glass cylinder surrounded by an outer layer made of three dozen sinuous strips. The pendants can be fully customized using a mix of strips in red, green, white, or dark blue acrylic, or choose white, high-polish gold, or chrome metal. 305-621-9602; sid-usa.com. circle 739

Property MRP

Interiors are entirely too beige, according to Schilsan designers Sabrina Schilcher and Sandra Santos. Their 17-inch-diameter MRP spun aluminum pendant—sold with or without scallops and punched perforations—can be powdercoated in pink, green, or yellow, or with automotive paint in black or white. The floor lamp version is a magic mushroom on a 48-, 55-, or 66-inch stem. 917-237-0123; propertyfurniture.com. circle 743

Derek Marshall Lighting Topolino

The 4-inch diameter Topolino pendant takes inspiration from sheets of water cascading in nature. Overlapping 11-inch-tall waves of American art glass encircle an incandescent, compact fluorescent, or halogen source for both damp and dry locations. Chandeliers can be assembled using up to nine Topolino elements. 800-497-3891; derekmarshall.com. circle 742

Pacific Coast Lighting lampshades

Mediterranean motifs taken from the region's distinctive architecture inspire the colorful Giclée prints on Stacy Garcia's lampshades. A trim, retro drum shade from the collection contrasts with the clean lines of a stainless steel swing arm floor lamp. 800-709-9004; pacificcoastlighting.com. circle 740

Kartell Cindy

Italy's plastic-fantastic maestros turned to technopolymer for their 19-watt fluorescent Cindy table lamp. To keep the feeling ultra-glam, metallic finishes for the curvy 16½-inch-tall base and tapered shade include bronze, violet, Flamingo, Tangerine, Platinum, Mint, Ultramarine, and gunmetal. 866-854-8823; kartell.com. circle 741

jGoodDesign Ribbon

Jeffrey Goodman's custom Ribbon chandelier slices post-consumer wine bottles, then strings them up beneath halogen or LED lamps. Fixtures can be ordered with glass in amber, olive, brown, and clear. If glass elements are blown, additional colors—including translucent white, gray, Caribbean Blue, Steel Blue, amber, Olive Grey, and Champagne—are available. 212-475-0479; jgooddesign.com. circle 748

Laurie Beckerman Design Whistle

Church organs inform the monumental, 7-foot-tall profile of the sculptural Whistle lamp. Mirror-polished or satin-finished 9-inch-diameter bronze tubes screw discretely to a central rod. A planned outdoor version will develop a patina, or select from powdercoat colors. The tubes take nine, 30-watt incandescent bulbs. 212-889-1287; lauriebeckerman.com. circle 744

Phillip Nimmo Ironworks Goccia

The 2-foot cast aluminum Goccia side table lamp comes with its scepter-inspired aluminum body and matching finial painted gold, matte black, dark bronze, Aged Bronzed, white gold, Antique Gold, or Antique Silver. Premium leafed finishes are also available. Meanwhile, the linen shade softens illumination from a 60-watt bulb. 323-653-1209; philipnimmoironworks.com. circle 749

Fuse Lighting Acacia

Natural forms inspired Kevin Kolanowski's robust gilt-bronze Acacia table lamp. It stands 15¼ inches tall, including the tripod base and shade, though the designer is eager to customize. As currently configured, two 40-watt bulbs are recommended for the pull-chain sockets; a high-low switch in the cord regulates brightness. 310-652-2411; fuselighting.com. circle 747

Campbell Ironworks Many

The Lighting Collection's Delta pendant is 40 pounds of textured, art-grade bronze and handmade glass. The 18-inch-tall fixture uses an incandescent or LED source, and it comes with a square or round canopy plate. Installation will qualify for up to two LEED credits thanks to recycled content in the bronze. 888-788-2013; rockymountainhardware.com. circle 745

Rocky Mountain Hardware Delta

The iconic metal sculptures of Alberto Giacometti inspired Many, an equally sculptural floor lamp that's formed of hammered steel tube for the body and solid steel for the three-legged base. Standing 64 inches high, it is topped with a silk shade and takes incandescent lighting. 845-887-6420; campbellironworks.com. circle 746
