National Office Furniture Adds New Product to Line of Eco-Friendly Casegoods

National’s WaveWorks, EnvyWorks, and Arrowood Laminate casegoods and tables are also certified SCS Indoor Advantage.

Studies have shown that eco-friendly environments lead to enhanced productivity in the workplace. From a business standpoint, creating such conditions is a no-brainer, right? Adding to the industry’s selection of green casegoods, National Office Furniture recently celebrated the indoor air quality certification of its veneer Casbah series.

By meeting stringent criteria based on the Furniture Emission Standard established by the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (BIFMA), Casbah earned SCS Indoor Advantage certification. The series is certified level 2 for meeting the criteria of the BIFMA e3 Sustainability Standard and features National’s eco-friendly IntegraClear water-based finish process, which cures via ultraviolet light resulting in a low-emitting, energy saving method that produces durability and clarity.

“We want to enhance the environments where people work. Third-party product certifications ensure that end users and the environment truly benefit from sustainable efforts,” says Mendy Claridge, product line manager.

Continuing its commitment to sustainability, National’s WaveWorks, EnvyWorks, and Arrowood Laminate casegoods and tables are also certified SCS Indoor Advantage.
