Putting its money—and a good deal of its lighting—where its mouth is, Italian fixture specialist Foscarini is currently sponsoring the 53rd annual Biennale di Venezia.

The manufacturer, famous for facilitating the imaginations of hot lighting designers like Patricia Urquiola and Compasso d'Oro winner Marc Sadler, is also displaying its wares throughout the Arsenale venue, the old shipyards and warehouses used to build the Venetian Republic fleets, where the international art exhibition opened on June 7 and runs through November 22.

Foscarini's participation in the Biennale comes on the heels of its successful collaboration with the 11th annual International Architecture Exhibition, held in the Arsenale a year ago.
