2008 Interior Design Best of Year Awards: Designer's Choice

Designer's Choice online voting for industry professionals is open October 6 to 15.

Best of Year Awards - Vote TodayFor the third year in a row, the Interior Design annual Best of Year Awards is about to take center stage. And with nearly 700 entrants, the 2008 competition is tighter than ever. So, take a breather from the heated debates of election year, and cast a vote for your favorite design candidates.

Best of Year is the industry’s most comprehensive design competition, awarding both projects and products in more than 50 categories. A jury of peers judges the competitors, as the voting is restricted to members of the design community. Designer’s Choice votes are tabulated to decide four finalists in each category, and a panel of leading designers and Interior Design editors determine the final picks.

Online polls for the 2008 Best of Year: Designer’s Choice opened today at www.interiordesign.net/boyawards and will remain open until Wednesday, October 15, 8pm EDT. Cast your ballot for this year’s most distinguished designs, and tune in to the Web site on November 14 to view the finalists.

Winners will be announced live at an award ceremony and cocktail reception on December 4, 2008 at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the proceeds benefiting the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (formerly known as FIDER). Honorees will also be featured in the December issue of Interior Design.

For additional information and to cast your vote, please visit www.interiordesign.net/boyawards.
