Here's this week's roundup of who's doing what and where in the design community.

Nicholas Tamarin -- Interior Design, 10/3/2008

Marc Hochlerin is the new principal of strategic planning at international architecture and interior design firm BBG-BBGM. Hochlerin will oversee the firm's client services division as well as its overall business development, marketing and public relations strategy worldwide. Prior to joining BBG-BBGM, Hochlerin was principal and director of global operations for Shen Milsom & Wilke.

G. Frank Mills has joined the Dallas office of international architecture, interiors, engineering and construction firm Ellerbe Becket as a senior project manager.

Allison Comer is the new director of marketing at Lee Jofa. Comer, previously director of marketing at Grange, is responsible for all of the company's fabric and trimming brands.

Alberto Sanchez de Fuentes, Anne Briggs and Binh Nguyen have joined the Orlando office of international design firm Perkins + Will.

Carpet manufacturer Mohawk Group has named Bill Graves, Jay Imperatori, and Tom Thomas to the position of senior vice president for the firm's Midwest, Eastern and Western regions, respectively.

Workplace furniture manufacturer Allsteel has hired James Carlyle as national manager of higher education, and Stacey Coleman as an A&D specialist based in Toronto.

Peter Morrison, CEO of international architecture and design firm RMJM Group, has joined the corporate board of the Scottish North American Business Council. RMJM's global headquarters are located in Edinburgh, Scotland and the firm's national headquarters are in New York.
