Attention 20th century modernists: Make a date at New York’s Park Avenue Armory from November 14-17 for the 23rd annual running of Modernism: A Century of Style and Design.
Produced by Sanford L. Smith & Associates, the show will feature more than 60 international dealers proffering design prototypes, fine art, furniture, glass, silver and textiles. The full lineup will include examples of such decorative arts movements and periods as the Wiener Werkstätte, Arts and Crafts, Scandinavia, Art Deco, post-modern, the 50's, 60's and 70's, in addition to modern-day pieces.

This year's fair boasts several first-time exhibitors, such as Bernard Goldberg Fine Arts, Skalar Modern + Contemporary and the Weiss Antiques Gallery. Among the returning exhibitors are Aero, Mark McDonald, John Alexander, Tony Subal, and the Staley-Wise Gallery.
The show kicks off with a benefit preview on November 13 that will raise funds for the decorative arts collection at the Brooklyn Museum. Prior to the event, the Modernism/Brooklyn Museum awards program will honor industrial designer Stephen Burks with its young designer award, and a yet-to-be-named lifetime achievement winner will be announced.
