Contest Honors Student Kitchen and Bath Designs

Each participating school has a kitchen and bath program accredited by NKBA.

by Mairi Beautyman -- Interior Design, 6/26/2008

Design students with a penchant for the kitchen and bath took top honors in the National Kitchen & Bath Association's (NKBA) Outstanding Student Achievement Awards program, sponsored by bath manufacturer Toto. A total of 38 students -- one student from each participating college, university, and technical institute, located in the U.S. and in Canada -- earned a $450 scholarship. To participate, schools must have a kitchen and bath design program accredited by the NKBA.

"The National Kitchen & Bath Association is proud to honor these students who have not only met the standard of excellence that NKBA-accredited schools require, but have shown such an aptitude for design that they stand apart as the premier kitchen and bath design students at each of their colleges, universities, and technical institutes," says Ron Dolan, director of education for the NKBA.
