Just off the Peconic Bay, this 2-acre property's main house of cool concrete looms against vistas of bright blue sky and blue-green water. In the center of the 6,500-square-foot structure, a wedge built of channel glass acts as both a hub and a lantern. On either side, floating ceilings delineate the ground level's common areas, furnished with vintage pieces by Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, and Alvar Aalto. More traditional at first glance is the pool house, flaunting its white clapboard. The back, however, isoak-framed glass overlooking the lap pool and the sculpture garden. For warmth amid all this cool, retreat under the gables to the upstairs bedroom, clad entirely in maple.
