Cumberland Pushes Sustainable Wares

The new brochure details the benefits of long-lasting furniture.

Ayesha J. Gallion -- Interior Design, 8/28/2007

Cumberland Furniture, manufacturer of tables, desks, benches, and office and lobby seating, has a new full-color brochure that highlights its sustainable products.

Sustainability -- Objects that Last is a four-page catalog that focuses on how Cumberland's product quality, manufacturing process, and even shipping methods complement sustainable practices.

"Making beautiful objects that last is our way of preserving the earth," notes Scott F. Gilmore the company's president. "Regardless of the materials used, if it breaks or goes out of style and has to be thrown away, it isn't sustainable."

Contract furniture specifiers, clients, and dealers may order the hard copy of the catalog or view the electronic version.
