>Zoë Luyendijk Studio

Wyrd Stripe is part of the Ku

collection, which derives its name from the Sanskrit for the words earth,

soil, and land. This Tibetan hand-knotted carpet is made of natural

materials: hemp as well as wool that's been carded, spun, and dyed by

hand. The unearthly beauty of Zoë Luyendijk's designs—inspired by word

play, ideas, and ancient weavings—take on symbolic importance. href="http://www.mediabrains.com/client/InteriorDesign/BG1/BGLink.asp?Func=L&Track=True&Anonymous=True&Out=True&ct_categoryID=&lit_ListingTypeID=&l={DEF83E8F-6883-4DB7-9A9B-D1D6E4E91CC2}&LinkUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ezoeluyendijk%2Ecom&priorityLevelID=&BGKEYWORDSELECT=">Visit

>718: Furniture

Gavin Benjamin's Victorians rug

collection for Tissage du Monde was inspired by his love of Merchant Ivory

films. The organic feel of many of the designs unites hard and soft

elements. Handmade of Tibetan wool.  href="http://www.mediabrains.com/client/InteriorDesign/BG1/BGLink.asp?Func=L&Track=True&Anonymous=True&Out=True&ct_categoryID=&lit_ListingTypeID=&l={D3B56F00-3A70-4ED8-B95E-A534C1A77B8F}&LinkUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2E718%2Dfurniture%2Ecom&priorityLevelID=&BGKEYWORDSELECT=">Visit

>Bentley Prince Street

"Contemporary shag" is the only way to

describe the high-loop construction of Crepe Suzette, by Suzanne Tick. The

lush pile comes in punchy, joyful colors. href="http://www.mediabrains.com/client/InteriorDesign/BG1/BGLink.asp?Func=L&Track=True&Anonymous=True&Out=True&ct_categoryID=&lit_ListingTypeID=&l={3701AD4B-3455-4C8B-AB6D-D7905816322C}&LinkUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ebentleyprincestreet%2Ecom&priorityLevelID=&BGKEYWORDSELECT=">Visit

Rug Company

Ever stylish, the Rug Company makes a

habit of enlisting fashion designers to create fab rugs. Marni's Consuelo

Castiglioni developed this fresh floral—an obvious choice for spring. With

a warm brown ground, however, Castiglioni's contribution is sure to make a

lovely accent for more than one season.

>Karastan

Paisley Noveau is one of 20 slightly

abstract new patterns, for a subtle but distinct look. A bonus: The yarns

are engineered for exceptional softness. href="http://www.mediabrains.com/client/InteriorDesign/BG1/BGLink.asp?Func=L&Track=True&Anonymous=False&Out=True&ct_categoryID=&lit_ListingTypeID=&l={643A3A37-FAB3-487B-88CE-99307F4AF839}&LinkUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ekarastancontract%2Ecom&priorityLevelID=&BGKEYWORDSELECT=">Visit

>Carini Lang

Dainty isn't exactly our bag—we like

florals with flower power. Luckily, Joseph Carini is developing Mums, a

handwoven rug in vegetable-dyed silk. We can't wait to see the finished

product. href="http://www.mediabrains.com/client/InteriorDesign/BG1/BGLink.asp?Func=L&Track=True&Anonymous=True&Out=True&ct_categoryID=&lit_ListingTypeID=&l={DF2E72A7-FB5C-4CEC-8B2F-675AAAF9C302}&LinkUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecarinilang%2Ecom&priorityLevelID=&BGKEYWORDSELECT=">Visit

>NU

The Nowrooz collection offers the first

contemporary carpets made by artisans in Iran. The hand-knotted,

vegetable-dyed wool rugs feature Hassan Majd's expressionistic designs,

some inspired by Hakhamaneshi-era figurines. href="http://www.mediabrains.com/client/InteriorDesign/BG1/BGLink.asp?Func=L&Track=True&Anonymous=True&Out=True&ct_categoryID=&lit_ListingTypeID=&l={1DB38EFB-F853-4545-A847-DBCB2DBA1BE0}&LinkUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Enucollection%2Ecom&priorityLevelID=&BGKEYWORDSELECT=">Visit

>Nanimarquina

In green, the Písame Mucho carpet

resembles a patchwork of grasses. In blue, the design takes on the look of

a pebble beach. Brown gives the impression of a forest floor scattered

with autumnal leaves. At Design Within Reach. href="http://www.mediabrains.com/client/InteriorDesign/BG1/BGLink.asp?Func=L&Track=True&Anonymous=False&Out=True&ct_categoryID=&lit_ListingTypeID=&l={BCCB5831-09D4-436C-BBFA-994B1D5D8E12}&LinkUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Edwr%2Ecom&priorityLevelID=&BGKEYWORDSELECT=">Visit
