Four Accessible New Collections from BDI

Accessible design may sound like trendy phraseology, but for contemporary furniture company BDI, it is their raison d’etre.

The company’s Design Director and CEO, Bill Becker, founded the company in 1984 on the premise of accessible design, and he still leads the day-to-day operations of the company. BDI’s products are unique, functional and beautiful pieces that enrich the home environment.

BDI’s designers carefully consider every single detail under Becker’s watchful eye. Heavily influenced by Danish modern style, Matthew Weatherly is known for merging maximum functionality with minimal materials. Each of the four new collections by Weatherly echoes these influences.


Bink™
Semblance®



















Bink™ mobile media table has a petal-shaped top and matching base, and is constructed from powder-coated aluminum and steel. Remarkably, the table is comfortable both indoors and out. Bink comes in five tasty colors: Tangerine (orange), Wasabi (green), Earl (gray), Salt (white) and Pepper (black).

Semblance®, a versatile, modular system, can be used to create storage and display systems, offices and home theater solutions for almost any size and configuration. The richly finished vertical wood panels, unique glass shelves and storage cabinets work together to balance the needs for display space and storage with the needs of technology.
Format®Corridor™



 
















The elegant Format® office collection is thoughtfully engineered for small spaces. The collection includes an innovative desk, a mobile file pedestal and a mobile credenza with plenty of storage space.

Corridor™ home theater cabinet has louvered doors constructed of solid walnut that not only allow sound and remote control signals to pass through, but also provide striking textural detail. The center two doors open to reveal a large compartment with an adjustable shelf, so Corridor can handle speakers of virtually any size.
