The UrbanShade® System by MechoSystems has an innovative design, thrusting it far beyond the capabilities of most standard shades in the market. It features an elegant, small-profile, medium-duty hardware system with a universal-bracket design. It easily installs in nearly any space. The system's flexibility extends to its SnapLoc® mini-spline technology, which permits the shadecloth to be easily removed and replaced. One of UrbanShade's breakthrough features includes a first-of-its-kind upgrade kit that enables the system to be converted from manual to motorized in the field. This feature allows it to be installed as a manual shade and later converted to an automated system as budget permits and requirements change. Also innovative is the UrbanShade Double-Bracket system. Two shades facilitate offset mounting on a single, compact bracket system. This provides a variety of light control options on one easy-to-install bracket.

Any combination of manual or motorized lift systems can be fitted to the Double-Bracket, increasing its versatility and allowing you to customize it for both value and functional priorities. The system also makes it possible to pair opaque shadecloth with room darkening side and sill channels to truly darken a room for maximum privacy and light control, or raise the opaque shade and retain the benefit of solar protection while still enjoying the view to the outside. UrbanShade is a compact, value priced system and available in a manually operated or low-voltage motorized shade. It can be controlled by wireless remote, by wall or handheld switch (integrated with other systems) or fully automated through MechoSystems' WindowManagement® systems. Other available options include multiple fascia choices with color coordinated components for maximum aesthetics and both flexibility and ease of install at the job site. All MechoSystems' shadecloth options are available on the UrbanShade.
