House of Cards

Mark McMenamin -- Interior Design, 10/1/2012 2:00:00 AM

House of Cards

Studio Boot has been busy shuffling decks. And the result is Loco, a decorative wall-covering system for Ixxi. The Netherlands graphic-design house devised the kit of 50 cards, each 8 inches square, with both sides printed with dueling triangles. Simply use the I-and X-shape fasteners— yes, that’s where the company got its name—and connect according to your whim. Use hanging strips for wall applications or attach to a frame for a room divider. Made of high grade synthetic paper, the water proof cards resist ripping, curling, UV rays, and static and come in two color ways, yellow and pink. ixxidesign.com.
