Crossville, Inc. -- Interior Design, 10/1/2012 4:05:00 PM

Laminam by Crossville is a new concept in decorative surfaces with universal potential for the building, architectural and interior design world. It is a versatile and flexible solution with high aesthetic appeal and outstanding technical performance. Although the majority of its products are made in the US, Crossville also sources products globally that cannot be produced domestically. For Laminam by Crossville, the company struck an exclusive distribution agreement with the world's only maker of 3 mm (.12 inches) large-format porcelain panels to offer product collections chosen specifically for the American market.

Breaking the traditional concept of surfaces, Laminam goes beyond the limits imposed by size and thickness. It is quite simply the largest and thinnest ceramic surface ever seen. With a sheet size of 1x3 meters (39.37 x 118.11 inches), and a thickness of just over 3mm, Laminam is exceptionally easy to handle and process.

Laminam is the perfect solution to enrich interior design projects and give life to new applications in bathrooms, kitchens, cabinetry, counters, tables, desks and furnishings. Laminam can be used in the building sector to cover indoor and outdoor surfaces, new and existing surfaces, ventilated facades and curtain walls. It can also be used in the boat building, healthcare, hospital and medical sectors, thanks to its lightness and excellent aesthetics.

Laminam slabs, which are created with natural materials like quarry clays, granite rocks and ceramic pigments, do not release harmful substances into the environment. The slabs are produced using sustainable technology that respects the entire eco-system, reduces processing waste to a minimum and limits the use of resources.
