You can wear your design-loving heart on your sleeve-or practically anywhere else-courtesy of the Architecture + Design Museum Los Angeles's annual auction fund-raiser, Celebrate: The Wearable. For this year's edition, the museum commissioned 48 talents in architecture, interiors, industrial design, graphics, and fashion to explore commonalities between art and the body. Participants range from usual suspects (fashion designer Trina Turk) and enthusiastic dilettantes (chef Wolfgang Puck) to a gaggle of Interior Design Hall of Fame members. There's a skirt and top by Karim Rashid, jewelry by Leo Marmol and Ron Radziner, a laser-cut T-shirt by Neil Denari, and a robe by Robert A.M. Stern. The clothes and accessories will be modeled and auctioned at a salon-style runway event March 10 at the museum, dressed up for the occasion with furnishings from Room & Board, which is a lead sponsor along with the Richard Frinier Collection and the Mohawk Group. And some auction items went up for presale on the museum's Web site.
