2011 Green Giants

Staff -- Interior Design, 7/21/2011 2:57:09 PM

It may not be by leaps and bounds, but sustainable design is growing, as reported by Interior Design’ s top 100 Giants. We learned from 39 of the firms that at least 50 percent of their projects follow LEED guidelines. Total square footage of sustainable projects completed increased by 81.3 million over the previous reporting period. And the value of eco products specified rose by $2.5 billion. It turns out that dollars are green in more ways than one.
