Thinking outside the box is second nature to sculptor Mark Langan, who fashions bas-reliefs out of reclaimed corrugated cardboard, often shredded and mixed with nontoxic glue. And it turns out there's corporate demand for logos rendered in waste: His impressive roster of clients includes Kellogg's and Seventh Generation as well as Call2Recycle, which commissioned a piece made from company packaging. Branding also plays a role in Homage to Warhol (Campbell's Tomato Soup Can), a tribute to one of Langan's favorite artists. Another work mimics seeds and leaves native to his home state, Ohio.
