Unexpected collaborations. Uncommonly inspiring.

Industrial designers, healthcare designers, social media competitions - all teamed with Mannington for this year's NeoCon, to bring exceptionally beautiful new flooring introductions for 2011. From broadloom to modular, resilient sheet to rubber tile - Mannington Commercial offers choices that sustain, inspire, perform and deliver.

The Equinox Collection was inspired by a creative collaboration with Korean industrial designers Ryan Yoon & Harc Lee - Mannington interpreted a design concept of "light" and "shadow", using pure texture to define visual fields. A proprietary ultra-large denier fiber, used with Mannington's patented variable twist technology, created the subtle gradations, irregular grids and feeling of depth.

Available in both broadloom and modular tile, the patterns of Equinox bring the performance of Mannington carpets - including high postconsumer content, NSF/ANSI Platinum certified environmental preferable backings - with a look and feel unique in commercial carpet.

Meanwhile, Mannington's tx:style challenge continues to reshape how flooring manufacturers and designers collaborate, pushing the boundaries of collaboration, innovation and beautiful products. Last year's grand prize winners - Athena Abrol and Laurel Harrison - are both launching their product collections in Mannington's showroom at NeoCon this year.

And for this year's contest, public voting to choose the grand prize winners from among six finalists is taking place right now, at http://manningtontxstyle.com

"Once again, the design community has responded to our tx:style design challenge with overwhelming excitement," said Natalie Jones, Vice President, Commercial Brand Development and Creative Product. "This year, we set a record for number of designs submitted, with more than 500 amazing entries from all over the world. And we could not be happier with the finalists -the creativity and fresh perspective they bring is inspiring."

The two Grand Prize winners will be chosen entirely by open voting online and at NeoCon, to win $6,000 in total prize money, a full product collection and a trip to Maison & Objet in Paris. Visit the site to vote for your favorites to win, up to 10 times a day - http://manningtontxstyle.com.
