Traditional Elegance Meets Contemporary Style

Wolf Gordon -- Interior Design, 3/8/2011 10:36:07 AM

Wolf Gordon

With a strong heritage for delivering exceptional products that bring walls to life, Wolf-Gordon's latest collection—London Chic—draws on the historic culture and lively character of London's most interesting neighbourhoods. For all its historic panache and time-honoured traditions, London is very much a progressive city. And this viewpoint was adopted in reimagining these traditional and retro designs with a contemporary twist, presenting a fresh approach for today's interiors. Tour the collection at wolf-gordon.com.

The Arts & Crafts influenced Bloomsbury blends art, beauty, and wit with a large-scale damask print. Carefully groomed Hyde Park features a linked-ring design, reproduced in colourways of Heather, Loden and Tweed—a tribute to the Park's humble beginnings as a hunting domain. Camden Passage, a whimsical, multi-circular pattern printed with complementary metallics on a faux-woven texture, captures the eclectic nature of the popular haunt frequented by interior designers and collectors. Paying homage to Harvey Nichols—the "Absolutely Fabulous" department store—is Knightsbridge, a sleek, streamlined geometric print featuring trendy colors and a linen-textured background.

Rounding out the collection is Chelsea, a modest, irregular pinstripe; Kensington, close-meshed, intersecting metallic lines; and Notting Hill, floating rosettes with an artsy vibe. Coordinating wallcoverings include Camden, the solid weave mate to Camden Passage; and Hampstead, a chic, raw-silk textured pattern with metallic glints, complementing Hampstead Heath, imprinted with overlapping leafy vines. And, don't miss glamorous Mayfair and Mayfair Luxe, a graceful scrollwork design offering three colours embedded with glass beads.

All of these wallcoverings deliver Type II performance and durability, a Class A fire rating, and low emissions. The beauty of the collection is the diverse selection of patterns, assembled to offer a wide range of style alternatives for today's hospitality, healthcare, restaurant, and retail environments.
