Calling all shifters.

Interior Design Admin -- Interior Design, 2/1/2011 10:03:19 AM

Shaw Contract Advertorial

How do you define design when design is ever-shifting? Spaces, people, eco-systems and paradigms. The way we think, work, create, teach and heal. Once again, we honor the architects and interior designers around the globe who shift the very idea of what design is. Enter the 2011 Design is...Award today.

About the Shaw Contract Group Design is...Award program
At Shaw Contract Group, we believe design is changing the world. We see the architecture and design community as active developers, creative solvers and shift makers constantly redefining the spaces we inhabit. The Design Is...Award recognizes the vision and tenacity behind such momentous work. And if we're going to improve life for the better, shouldn't we celebrate the shifters?

We understand that carpet is only one part of your complex project. We are looking for stories that describe how our product fits into the bigger picture. Judges, selected from an elite group of industry-leading design professionals, will consider the overall design of the space-but the context is up to you. Categories of distinction will be identified by the judges based on how design is defined through the unique challenges, processes and results of the work.

How to answer the call
Have a commercial interior project that's shift-worthy? Enter your space in the 2011 Design is... Award at www.shawcontractgroup.com. Submissions end 2.25.2011. Good luck. Shift on.
