PUREs’ award winning NEXTERRA® tile backing system is manufactured using post consumer recycled content, an industry leading landfill diversion, produced in facilities that utilize clean green energy generated from wind farms and, are all NSF-140 Platinum certified, a third party certification for sustainable multi-product testing beneficial by reducing the environmental impact, carbon footprint and demonstrates social responsibility.  With the amount of Post Consumer Recycled Content, all Nexterra backed tiles contribute twice the dollar amount than pre-consumer recycled content in the USGBC Green Building Rating System.  Nexterra tiles offer LEED credits in the following categories: Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality and Innovation and Design Processes.  Every carpet tile includes PURALEX®, a self-renewing odor neutralizer that attacks virtually all-organic odors.  Environmentally friendly, Puralex is shown to be effective against indoor odors such as smoke, food and cooking smells, ammonia and other organic odors.   This unique technology removes odors from the indoor air while constantly renewing itself through proper airflow and lasting through time and multiple cleanings.

With the product offering, PURE CONTRACT markets and sells TacFast® LocPlate™ products that feature a free-floating hook substrate and carpet tiles with loop fabric covering the underside.  A total adhesive – free, carpet tile installation system from TacFast Systems International, the flooring surface attaches to the hook substrate by engaging the hooks and loops creating a mechanical bond that holds the flooring surface in place securely, yet is releasable.
