For your eyes only

With glee—and not a little pride—we meet 2003 with a portfolio capturing the spirit of the past 12 months. Whether the work selected is brand-new or newly relevant, the members of Interior Design's class of '02 have proved themselves true originals, champions of virtuosity and masters of invention. I might add that it will be no small task for tomorrow's talent to surpass the standard of excellence set by this group of interior designers and architects, foremost among them 2002 Hall of Fame inductees, Deborah Berke, Antonio Citterio, David Rockwell, George Yabu, and Glenn Pushelberg.
A formidable packet indeed, our evocative year-in-review is, nevertheless, best viewed as a careful synthesis of Design and Art Undivided. We prove it page by page, with textures, colors, materials, volumes, environments, and concepts. Each image shines singly. Taken together, the ensemble writes a symphony for our future.
All the best for the holidays and the New Year.
We would love your feedback!
