Calder's Baubles

Mark McMenamin -- Interior Design, 2/1/2008 12:00:00 AM

If you've ever thought that an Alexander Calder mobile might look great around your neck, don't miss Calder Jewelry, published by Yale University Press, and the companion exhibition, starting its tour at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida. Co-organized by the Calder Foundation in New York, the show presents approximately 100 necklaces, bracelets, brooches, earrings, and tiaras—which will then travel to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin. February 23–June 15; 561-832-5196; norton.org.
