Hard Rock International will soon have its 14th Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. The firm behind the Hard Rock Café chain has partnered with Graham Downes Architecture to create the 12-story, 315,000-square-foot condo-hotel.

The hotel, currently under construction at the corner of Fifth Avenue and L Street, will feature 420 luxury condo units, ranging from “studios to rock star suites,” according to press material.

Interiors will sport cantilevered furniture, state-of-the-art lighting, home theatre entertainment centers, bars, plush feather-top bedding, luxurious 300-thread count cotton linens, and oversized work stations. The property will also house a world-class spa and fitness center, a state-of-the-art screening room, a landscaped outdoor pool deck with private cabanas, a 7,000-square-foot music venue, retail boutiques, and 40,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor banquet and meeting space.

Units are for sale to individual buyers, and managed by Tarsadia Hotels, a national hotel development and management company. The hotel is slated to open in Spring 2007.
